Name, surname and job title
Gianluca Panebianco, multimedia designer
What do you do in Taiprora and what are the projects you are currently working on?
I have been working in Taiprora since 2001, focusing on everything concerning the aesthetic and graphic solutions produced in the company, both from the point of view of corporate communication (website, social networks, brochures, video editing, posters, etc.), and pertains to customer projects.
From this point of view I deal with user interface design and user experience design (UI and UX), and also front-end development for web applications.
What do you like most about your job?
It is certainly a very varied job in which I always have the opportunity to learn new things.
I like being able to study how to connect fields of knowledge that are sometimes different from each other, perhaps by approaching the problems we face on a daily basis with a different eye than usual.
This means that – by relating to the rest of the team – we can find alternative solutions to the challenges we face… solutions that are not only “different” from the usual, but that solve problems efficiently and with customer satisfaction. But always with an eye to usability and aesthetics!
Do you have any advice for those just starting out in your role?
You have to be very available and with an open and “responsive” mind. It can often happen that during the same day it is necessary to intervene on several projects, sometimes even simultaneously and with very tight intervention times.
So jumping from one project to another in a very short time is absolutely necessary. My advice is not to get caught up in anxiety, which is always a bad adviser, and face daily challenges with a good degree of organization.
What are the qualities to be successful in this job?
There are many features needed to do this job well. Among the many, I would say the desire to learn, always and in any case.
And then have a lot of patience, perseverance and stubbornness. In the awareness that even a small daily progress brings us ever closer to the goal.
